Game Description: The year is 1942. You pilot a fighter launched from an aircraft carrier and then fly your plane into battle against the enemy over both sea and land.

Numerous planes come at you in formation in much the same was as Galaxian.

After destroying certain plane formations you can collect several different power ups to increase your fire power and chances of survival.

Game Description: Your mission is to guide the A-Team through two dangerous missions.

The first mission will have you travel to the Morania desert in order to reduce a dangerous group of terrorists.

The second one mission has you out to destroy a military base located in Tirania. Be cautious as there is an invasion coming from the neighbouring countries.

Use your N-16 A2 rifle to defeat your enemies. Sometimes you will see dynamite charges deposited in the ground; an accurate firing on them will end with every object or person on the screen. Also you will be able to shoot to boats, which will provide you an extra dose of energy.

Game Description: You must rescue all the captives and make it to the escape hatch before the time bomb explodes. Then face the mother alien at the end of the level.

You can play single player or two people at the same time.

Game Title: Altered Beast

Game Description: You have been raised from the dead by the god Zeus to rescue his daughter Athena. You have to fight hordes of demons, with a boss at the end of each level until you meet the god Neff who holds the girl captive.

Use your shapeshifting abilities to defeat your foes. In order to shapshift, collect spirit balls by defeating two-headed wolves, allowing you to mutate into different beasts such as a werewolf, a dragon, a tiger, a bear and others depending on the version. Each form comes with special abilities such as flight and powerful attacks.

The game can be played in singleplayer mode, or in same-screen multiplayer co-op mode.

Game Description: Arkanoid is based off the original breakout that is based off of Pong. Arkanoid became a huge hit during the 1980s.
The game's plot really does not fit very well, but that does not matter. The game stands on its own.

Along with the ball bouncing around the screen, hitting the bricks would also cause options to fall that included, but not limited to, longer paddle, laser ball, three balls, catch, free ball, etc.

The game also dramatically improved on the sound effects and use of sound. It is not difficult to lose hours playing this game.

Game Description: Ballblazer is a one-on-one soccer match set in the distant future.

You are a robot trying to snare a floating ball called a plasmorb. Once snared, fired the plasmorb into your opponent's goal.

You play on a simple 3d playfield which is split in half. You can play against the computer or against another robot controlled by a human player.

Game Title: Bandit Kings of Ancient China

Game Description: In the 12th century, the Emperor Hui Zhong is faced with an internal rebellion led by Imperial Minister Gao Qiu. The Song Dynasty came to an end and Gao Qiu became the new ruler.

You play the role of the exiled ruler. Your mission is to build your stats up to be able to challenge and of course, destroy Gao Qiu in order to restore Hui Zhong to the throne.

Game Title: Bank Panic

Game Description: Bandits are holding up a bank and many people are being held hostage. You mission is to shoot the bank robbers.

The bank has 12 doors, and there are 12 bandits guarding each door ready to shoot you as soon as you open the door. Here is where the game gets a little twisted. If you shoot them before they point their gun at you, no points are earned as it is considered unfair. If you are too late... well you get the picture.

Be sure to pick up any gold coins that are thrown at you.

Be careful not to shoot innocent people as you will use a life. However, if you shoot the gold on the tops of the hostages heads, you get a bag of coins. Its risky and a little odd game play, but hey...

Bank Panic offers ten rounds. Each round ends when a person behind all 12 doors was able to throw you a bag of gold coins. As you complete one round and move to the next, each round becomes more difficult than the one before it.

Game Title: Barunba

Game Description: Barunba is a shooter in comic style. The levels automatically scroll and move in all directions so it may seem a little unwieldily at first. Weapons can be upgraded by shooting enemies and picking up the pods they might change in.

Each level has it's own theme and it's own bosses. Oh yeah, it has both a mid-level boss and a boss at the end. A status bar at the bottom of the screen shows the energy bar of your ship and it's game over when that bar has depleted.

Game Title: BC's Quest for Tires

Game Description: Cute Chick is held captive by the dinosaur and it is up to Thor to ride his trusty wheel to the rescue.

Watch out for the many obstacles in the way that Thor will need to jump and duck including rocks, trees, rivers, lava pits, cliffs and of course Fat Broad.

Game Title: Beamrider

Game Description: Beamrider is a unique space shooter game. The game's maps are drawn using 3-d and objects get bigger the closer to them you move -- just like real life.

Pilot your star-ship to defeat evil aliens which have encased the Earth in a strange field of glowing beams.

Battle through 99 treacherous sectors. The number of enemies and dangerous objects you must avoid increasing as you progress through the levels. Use your blaster to destroy most enemies, and torpedoes to destroy anything that's hard to kill. Be careful as you have a limited number of torpedoes.

An enemy mother-ship that appears at the end of each sector and can only be destroyed with the torpedo.

Game Description: In this racing game, there are seven courses incorporating ramps and bumps that significantly affect the bike's handling. Complete each course before your time is up or it's game over.

Game Title: Boulder Dash

Game Description: You're Rockford and have to dig through monster infested caves in search of diamonds.

Once you have collected the right amount of diamonds, you progress to the next stage.

Squash your enemies with falling boulders that are released when the ground below them is removed or they are pushed onto empty ground. Be careful because these can also squash you.

Game Description: Part two changed very little in terms of game design: you still get to mine diamonds while avoiding falling rocks and cave monsters of all sorts.

Game Description: Your mission is to reach the wizard in an underground lair. Along the way, you must kick and punch out various bad dudes mostly consisting of Ninjas and Green Yamos.

Collect the many strategically-placed lanterns before exiting through the passageway revealed after successfully winning the round.

Game Title: Bubble Bobble

Game Description: Bubble Bobble is the story of Bub and Bob after wandering into the mysterious cave of monsters and magically turn into dinosaurs. You can transform back, but must leave the end of the cave for this to happen.
Bubble Bobble is a multi-platform game, with each level having a single screen. The real power Bub and Bob is the ability to blow bubbles. Use these bubbles to leap on or to trap enemies. Enemies trapped in a bubble must be popped by jumping into them, wherein they will turn into yummy fruit.

Clear the level of all enemies to proceed to the next level. Taking too long to complete any level will summon Baron Von Blubba, who will float around the screen trying to destroy you.

Game Title: Buck Rogers - Planet of Zoom

Game Description: Buck Rogers began as a comic strip and later in the 1980s adapted as a TV show. It became an arcade game before being ported to various game consoles and home computers.

This Fast and furious racing game taking place on a futuristic racetrack. Guide your spaceship between the pylons and shoot down other enemy racers.

Game Title: Burger Time

Game Description: You are the Chef Pepper. Your goal is to make giant hamburgers while evil eggs, sausages and pickles chase you around the game area. Sounds like a bad dream, but it makes for great game play. Burger time was a big seller in the 1980s.

To make a hamburger, assemble all of the ingredients together, dropping them onto the the burger. To do this, you have to let Chef Pepper step all over the burger ingredients. As soon Chef Pepper steps on an ingredient, it will falls to the next level below.

The great news here is that falling food will squish any enemy following you and will also drop any other ingredient bellow down a level.

Do well and you are rewarded with higher levels result in new level design, faster enemies and more ingredients to assemble.

Game Description: California Games follows the same format as the summer and winter games. Events included are skateboarding, footbag, surfing, roller skating, flying disc and BMX. California games supports multiplayer and single player modes. Though the game is best enjoyed with friends.

Like previous Epyx games, Summer Games is just as addictive.
